In this DVD, Dr. Ross interviews a woman with an eating disorder. Melissa Engle, the Executive Clinical Director of the Ross Institute, role plays the client, who has been referred by her family doctor for assessment and treatment recommendations. The interview illustrates a number of different principles of the Trauma Model, including that the problem is not the problem. The eating disorder is placed in the context of the client's life story and its psychological function is explained to her. The DVD illustrates how eating disorders can be understood and treated within the Trauma Model.
